This week, our Year 6 captains and some Year 5 students attended Lifted Jnr with Miss Matienzo โ a faith-filled formation day hosted by CSPD and Catholic Youth Parramatta. Through music, stories, discussion, and prayer, students were encouraged to reflect on who they are and who they are called to be. โจ Highlights from the day: โข We all have a purpose โข Our identity is grounded in being children of God โข Inspired by Pentecost, we are called to live our faith with courage โข โFrom our hearts to our handsโ โ putting faith into action A meaningful day of reflection, connection, and growth as our students continue to live out Gospel values in our school and community.

Musica Viva- Music of the World recently visited our school and presented an uplifting and engaging performance. The musicians Mark Turner, Ben Vanderwal and Teresa Vinci took us on a musical journey from Ireland to Italy and Eastern Europe with singing, dancing and hands-on musical participation by the students. It was a joyous and fun filled afternoon that had us all clapping, laughing and moving to the rhythms and melodies. #CSPD2026 #MusicoftheWorld #MusicaViva

Some of our amazing students represented Sacred Heart exceptionally well at the football trials this week. One student progressed to the second half of the day (top 40) and performed strongly across the remaining five games. By the end of the trials, he was selected as part of the final team of 12 to represent Parramatta Diocese at the MacKillop trials. Amazing work everyone!

Last term, Matilda Offord and Kyra Wheatley visit us at Sacred Heart as part of the Olympics Unleashed program in NSW schools. Both ladies spoke about their journey to the top level of their respective sports. A truely inspirational experience for all the students.
